Bamboo USB Keyboard and Mouse Make Perfect Gifts for Geeky Pandas

USBBambooKeyboardMouse_1

A great edible gift for a Panda, not such a great edible gift for Panda pet owners. The 106-key Bamboo Keyboard and Mouse from Brando connects to your computer via its USB port and offers support for Window 2000/XP/Vista and Linux.

If you live in a heavy Panda bear population, you might want to either lock the keyboard up tight or mask its scent with your (hey, we don’t judge, Ok, maybe we do judge a little bit) or your mom’s perfume or something. You can purchase both keyboard and mouse individually or you can buy them together for $52.

Twelve Sided Rubik’s Cube Puzzle

iq_pentagon

I’m not sure which would be more impressive to solve, the 1,212 piece Petaminx puzzle we saw a few months back or this awesome twelved-sided Rubik’s Cube puzzle. The Petaminx definitly seems more challenging, though this Brando toy is slightly sexier and might be your last chance to impress that geeky puzzle girl you’ve been trying to get in the sack.

The Petaminx always seemed a little clumsy to me. This puzzle seems to just, I don’t know, make more sense. If a puzzle could have grace and beauty, this one has it.

Stationary Holder Launches Attack Against You

stationary-troops1

I knew I shouldn’t have bought a militarized set of stationary holders. Thank God I didn’t get the uranium processing plant tape dispenser!

These Stationary Troops stationary holders are apt to launch an attack against you. Just don’t look at them the wrong way. In fact, just don’t look at them at all.

LEGO Star Wars Chess Set

star-wars-lego-chess

Lego builder Brandon Griffith created this awesome Star Wars chess set made completely out of LEGO elements.

Griffith didn’t adhere to the typical chess piece rules. A few of the chess men are actually designed as vignettes from the movie. For example, the king’s bishop is actually a model of Obi Wan Kenobi disabling the Death Star’s tractor beam. Griffith also focused on the board’s durability. So basically, it won’t fall apart when you move it around.

USB Hand Grenade is the Bomb

USBHandGrenadeFlashDrive_1

Are you in possession of a real bombshell bit of data? I mean, a piece of information that is so explosive that it’s bound to blow the lid off a typical USB drive. The USB Hand Grenade Flash Drive might be the only peripheral that can handle the explosive data without self-destructing.

Brando offers these awesome USB Hand Grenades, offering storage capability of between 2 GB and 8 GB, depending on your data needs and the dough your willing to dole out, between $19 and $33. Available in black, orange, white and blue, the USB Hand Grenade actually looks pretty realistic.

pirate-equation

Argh, matey. Grab yourself a brisk pint of ale, a brand new pet parrot and get ready to take to the sea. Part of the New Math series by Craig Damraurer, this shirt merges math with the our scientific definition of a pirate.

If we’ve done the math correctly, this awesome Pirate equation shirt is right up your gangplank. Grab yours, in sizes up to 2XL, for $20. Pirate + math x shirt = awesome. Pirates > Ninjas.

iMono’s 81-in-1 Card Reader Is Compatible With Pretty Much Everything

imono-card-reader

For a gadget that only measures 7mm thick, iMono’s 81-in-1 Card Reader packs in a whole lot of hardware power. With an average read speed of 32.5MB/s and a write speed of 25MB/s when tested with a Sandisk Extreme IV, this card reader is almost guaranteed to work with any popular card format you require, including the MSHG memory card.

This plug and play device is compatible with Windows versions from 2003 and up. And for $17, it’s pretty much a steal for data card users. It sure beats the hell out of the old 31-in-one readers.

Wii Steering Wheel Gets an Update, Now Includes MotionPlus

wiisteeringwheelii_1

As much as we hate the Wii, we know a bunch of you assholes really dig it, so here you go. Brando has taken it upon themselves to update the Wii Steering Wheel, creating the aptly titled Wii Steering Wheel II.

The second version offers MotionPlus integration and a slick, stream-line design. Not too mention you don’t need any additional batteries, since it’s pretty much just a form-fit piece of plastic. Fricken’ Wii is such a racket. You can grab one for $10.

Dual HDD Docking Station Transfers via eSATA

dual-hdd-esata

How much data you packin’ over there? Enough to have extra hard drives laying around, full of media? This Dual HDD Docking Station allows for any two 2.5″ or 3.5″ SATA harddisks to connect to your computer via the eSATA port.

This plug-and-play driverless docking station is great if you just want to have all of your data supplied to one computer at one time and the eSATA support is great for those of you who are into that sort of thing.

Thanks to Brando for the tip!

A Pencil That Celebrates Mistakes

celebrating-mistakes-pencil1

If you want to learn to do something properly, you’re going to have to fuck up every once in a while. Mistakes are what teach us the right way to do something. Without them, we’d be under the impression that everything is perfect, even if it was far from.

Writing and drawing are both skills that take an exceptional amount of error and practice before they can be mastered. Unless you are lucky enough to have some sort of freaky innate savant talent, you’re going to screw up… a lot. The Celebrating Mistakes Pencil by Tom Wrigglesworth (imagine having a name like that in grade school) and Mat Robinson allows for as many errors as you can stomach, with plenty of eraser to spare.
