An Apple Fanboy with a Sweet Tooth

apple-fanboy-cake

BCake as put together an amazing display of Apple cake goodness. Including the iPhone, the Macbook Pro, the Mighty Mouse and even more geeky goodness, such as pens, Apple’s trademark white USB cables and post-it notes, this cake creation is a multi-faceted geek dream.

If it tastes half as good as it looks I’ll be halfway to diabetes by the time I take the last bite.

Cellphone Evolution Matryoshka Nesting Doll

cellphone-nesting-doll

Russia is known for two things. Commies and Matryoshka dolls. Over the years, there have been some super creative Matryoshka nesting dolls designed and displayed, and this set is one of the coolest I’ve seen.

Instead of the typical pear shaped Russian broad, this Matryoshka set is composed of a visual evolution of the mobile phone. Starting from the days of the Zach Morris pocket jockey special and moving on to the current smartphones. You can check out a bunch more Matryoshka dolls at the links below.

Ultra-Realistic Michael Jackson Thriller Action Figure

michael-jackson-thriller-action-figure

Looking almost more like Michael Jackson than Michael Jackson looked like Michael Jackson, this ultra-realistic set of Thriller Action Figures features MJ in both his normal pre-surgical and pre-allegation days, with iconic red leather jacket, and also in his much-touted zombie form.

Thriller is probably my favorite music video of all-time. Having a Michael Jackson Thriller action figure to show off in my office with my other various toys would just add to my overall awesomeness.

Robotize Me Turns You Into a Transformer

robotize-me

Used as a promotional device for the film, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, the Robotize Me website allows you to take your face and plaster it in the face hole of a Transformer of your choice. I chose Bumblebee, but their are a variety to choose from over at the site.

This might be on the older side, but frankly, I don’t care. I hadn’t heard of it so there’s a good chance some of you haven’t either. Feel free to post links to your creations in the comments. Check out the original photo of me after the jump. My image is no longer mysterious!!! AHHH!

Coconut Headphone Mod

coconut_headphones

If I was stuck on a deserted island with nothing but a pair of headphones and my iPod, I would so mod my headphones to better resemble my current habitat. In fact, this awesome headphone mod could be used as awesomely musical camouflage from the island’s natives.

It’s really a win-win. Because as you clean out the coconut shell, you get to eat the sweet meat inside. Om nom.

The Coolest and Geekiest Custom Nike Sneakers You’ll Ever See

nike-sneaker1

These customized Nike Dunks by Daniel Reese are some of the coolest, geekiest shoe designs I’ve ever seen. Without exception, I would rock every single pair of these bad boys, including the pink and cutesy Princess Peach pair. They’d actually go great with my Bubblebum Pants.

I dare you to find a cooler Nike shoe design than these. Each pair will be about $220. Included in the designs are Twitter sneakers, Mario sneakers, Zelda sneakers and even Michael Jackson Thriller sneakers (my personal favorite). Check out tons more after the jump. Which is your fave?
