Hey… Did Anyone Else Notice There’s a Horse Hanging From the Wall?
“Yeah, hey, I was just wondering if anyone else noticed that headless horse hanging on the wall. No biggie. Doesn’t seem that out of the ordinary. Just wanted to know if it’s some sort of conceptual piece or the result of the acid I popped this morning.” “Nope, it’s a horse.” “Ahh, nice, nice.” The “Untitled” piece by Maurizio Cattelan is simply a headless taxidermied horse hanging from a wall, which makes no fucking sense.
An iPhone Hater’s Cry for Help
Apparently an Apple a day doesn’t keep the psychiatrist away. Fight the power! Damn tech corporations trying to brainwash us with their awesome Wolfenstein and Metal Gear Solid games. Link

Tool Logic Credit Card: Wallet Survival
Lord knows we could use a tool for saving the contents of our wallets. Though, alas, the Tool Logic Credit Card kit isn’t so much a financial aid as it is a personal survival tool. Included in the super-compact Tool Logic Credit Card is a full two-inch serrated blade, precision folding scissors, an 8x magnifying lens, a compass, tweezers, a flat screwdriver, a toothpick and a combination awl/can and bottle opener. The whole tool weighs 1.3 oz and fits snugly... Continue reading
Vibram FiveFingers
Have you ever seen such a unique article of footwear? I sure as hell haven’t. These are called FiveFingers. They’re shoes produced by a company called Vibram. You can get them in four different styles, with some more equipped for hiking and others for water sports. Multiple color choices are available, so if you don’t dig the tye-dye job above, you can go with black or something more reserved. It’s said to feel as if you’re running barefoot and exercising... Metal Detecting Sandals
Truth be told I’ve never been one to use a metal detector. I just don’t have the patience to wander around the woods or a beach searching for buried treasure. But with the advent of new technology, all that’s about to change. I’d seriously consider these metal detecting sandals from quirky products reseller Hammacher Schlemmer. You walk around with them and sure enough, a little device strapped to your ankle will beep when it detects metal below your feet. At... Continue reading
The $29 Question
I wrote a little commentary on my other site, The Veneziani Journal, regarding Mac OS X Snow Leopard and its pricing. At $29, this is a huge issue which could significantly affect both Microsoft and Apple. My tale of the take: Apple is pulling out its big guns this year. The thing in particular I’m referring to started at the WWDC keynote and will conclude in September of this year. I am talking about OS X Snow Leopard. Apple decided... Continue reading
T-Mobile Got The Shit Hacked Out Of It
T-Mobile is confirming today that a hacker (or group of hackers) broke into its systems and pretty much stole every last goddamned file that wasn’t nailed down to the theoretical floor. The hackers themselves posted a message to SecLists.org detailing what they had done and the damage is absolutely brutal. Like Checkpoint Tmobile has been owned for some time. We have everything, their databases, confidental documents, scripts and programs from their servers, financial documents up to 2009. We already contacted... Continue reading
The Aftermath: Our Next Day Apple Roundup
With all the announcements at WWDC yesterday, it’s understandable that some information was overlooked. But now that WWDC’s keynote has come and gone, it’s time to analyze and pick apart every last thing Apple mentioned. Apparently, I overlooked the new 13-inch Macbook Pro! Here’s what people around the web are discussing: The 411 on tethering and MMS delays from AT&T. A $200 premium to upgrade early to the 3GS? No thanks. iPhone 3GS complete feature list from Apple The new... Continue reading
Collectable Kid Little Mac Figure
One of the first action figures I built myself was none other than Richter Belmont from the Castlevania series. It took a lot of work, paint and spare parts but it came out alright in the end. But it doesn’t matter. Collectable Kid puts me to shame with this recreation of Little Mac from Punch Out!. To top it off, it’s based on the newer Wii version of the game as opposed to the 1980′s classic. If you want to... Continue reading
